Micelle:


When the concentration of the emulsifying agent is above certain limit, it doesn't get dissolved and this is known as micelle.


Critical Micelle Concentration (CMC):


 The highest concentration where in all the molecules are in a dispersed state or the concentration beyond which only micelle formation is possible is known as the critical micelle concentration or CMC.
